Expectation of Self-SupportNew Beginnings' residential environment is not clinical or institutional in any regard. Our clients meet the challenges of life, social interaction, and employment outside the Home on a daily basis. We maintain a strong philosophy of a solid work ethic. Our clients are engaged in two full-time pursuits: that of full participation in the recovery process itself, and that of full-time employment outside the Home to support the foremost recovery effort. Exception is made only for those unable to work on account of documented disability; in such cases, community-service volunteerism is required. NotesInsurance: Most health insurers will not cover any of the cost of Recovery Home residential. Dual Diagnosis: Clients with dual diagnosis (chemical dependency and significant psychological disorders) are considered on a case-by-case basis for admission to our Program. Detoxification, when necessary, may be accomplished by referral locally to Lakeview Center of Baptist Hospital, Twelve Oaks Treatment Center, or The Friary Treatment Center. New Beginnings maintains an excellent professional relationship with these local healthcare providers.
